Les Amis

Founded in 1994 by a group of friends who loved French food and culture — les amis means "the friends" — this was Singapore's first independent fine-dining restaurant, and three decades on it remains the standard-bearer for pure French haute cuisine in Asia. Chef Sébastien Lepinoy, a longtime Robuchon disciple, took over in 2013, won two Michelin stars in the inaugural 2016 Singapore guide and a third in 2019. He sources prized seasonal produce from across France and treats it with exacting classical technique; signatures like the foie gras with black truffle and the sole with caviar show the house style. The wine cellar runs past 3,000 bottles, mostly Burgundy and Bordeaux, and Les Amis is the only restaurant in Asia to hold the "three pillars" — three Michelin stars, five Forbes stars and a Wine Spectator Grand Award.
